about me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California who loves working with people of all ages. I received my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Wright Institute and Master of Elementary Education (M.Ed.) from Arizona State University. Before that, I studied psychology at Cornell University (B.A.).
I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2016. I trained at UCSF’s Child Trauma and Research Program as a postdoctoral fellow and at Through the Looking Glass for internship. I also served at the Wright Institute Psychodynamic Clinic and Child Haven. Before becoming a psychologist, I was a kindergarten teacher who worked with racially and culturally diverse students with neurodiverse abilities.
I offer integrative psychotherapy with a psychodynamic foundation to children, teens, and adults. I see clients as whole beings and am passionate about play and sand tray therapy. I attune well to clients and skillfully tailor treatment plans to address their unique needs and challenges.
Welcoming individuals from diverse racial backgrounds, sexual orientations, and neurodiverse experiences, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment. Further, driven by a genuine enjoyment of the work, I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and peace.
Outside of therapy, I have written, illustrated, and published a children’s picture book: The Yet Pet. This book is meant to help young minds unlock the power of a single word, "yet," to fuel their growth and resilience. I created this book based on my experience with kindergarteners and other young children.
